Here is a realistic yet hopeful word from Clarence Dalrymple on the subject of failure. As you read this, please pray for him and his wife, Pat, as they begin a new ministry leading a local church. I knew God will give them great fruit for their labor.
A new year prompts many people to look at their lives and want to give up because nothing seems to work. No matter how hard they try, it seems the results are always the same–failure and loss.
Here are three possible reasons why you’re experiencing failure more often than victory.
- We run before we are sent
The first mistake is that we run before we are sent. This problem is caused by intensity. When I was 22 years old, God put a call on my life to preach. I had completed four years of Bible college in Houston, Texas. I was employed at the time with Ford Marketing Corporation in the automotive parts warehouse.
